To mark the ‘Share a Smile, Help a Child’ campaign in the UK, Wall’s has brought the iconic 80s ice cream, Funny Feet, back to supermarket shelves.
The campaign is part of the three-year, €15 million partnership between the Unilever Foundation, Wall’s ice cream and Save the Children, and aims to give more children in the UK, and around the world, a better start in life.
In the UK, Wall’s is donating 10 pence from each Funny Feet flashed pack to Save the Children’s ‘Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play’ programme. This programme helps to give the most disadvantaged children in the UK the chance of a better start in life by ensuring they don’t go without basic necessities such as a bed for a good night’s sleep, or books and toys which encourage development.
The campaign gives the UK public the opportunity to relive their happy childhood memories and to share their favourite nostalgic moments on an exciting new facebook app. The app invites users to support our campaign both through helping to raise awareness, by sharing memories with friends, and by donating to Save the Children’s work.
